Ethan’s face darkened.
“You don’t know how to run a business.”
“Then I’ll learn.”
Patricia laughed coldly.
“You were meant to manage a home, not a company.”
For the first time, Madison’s fear cracked.
“I own it now,” she said. “So I make the decisions.”
Ethan slammed his hand on the table.
“Then we’re getting divorced.”
Patricia stood immediately.
“And you can leave this house tonight.”
Before Madison could answer, the front door opened.
Eleanor walked in with two men in black suits.
She looked at Patricia, then Ethan, and laughed softly.
