Loneliness is often confused with isolation or sadness. Yet, living alone can also be synonymous with freedom, calm, and balance.
Living alone means:

- decorate your home to your liking
- make decisions without compromise
- learn to appreciate your own company
- develop one's passions
Of course, this does not mean living without human relationships. Friends, family, colleagues, neighbors, and social activities play a very important role in maintaining a balanced life.
